I came across a Hazel bush a few weeks back.. I plan on taking a wander to it this weekend........ Been years since I have had a fresh hand picked nut...
Will be wandering to another piece of woodland nearby soon, for some chestnuts...

Shoot squirrel and eat with the hazel nuts..
Good post that Steve. Those wild (alpine) strawberrys are one of the best tasting things in the wild I reckon (in this country).

If I let the Squirrels eat the nut, when I introduce them to my friend Juan Sevn-Sevn, they'll not need stuffing before cooking.... Mmmmm
