Went for a walk with some friends tonight and came across some Badger sign. heres a couple of pics

Yep, fox poo.. Badgers dig latrines (or use natural holes in the ground), and use it regularly. Pretty nasty when you accidentally tread in one..
Wetter poo than that too..

The consistency of badger poop is dependant on diet, they eat a lot of slugs, worms and vegetable matter which produces a rather wet poop. They will, however, eat pretty much anything so you'll find varying types. Occasionally you will find them on the ground and not in a latrine.
Latrines provide a more permanent territorial boundary marker in that the droppings aren't washed/eroded away so quickly. The scent doesn't carry so well though.
A Fox marks prominent features - ideally a point raised above ground level - as this spreads the scent over a further distance.
