The target groups are mainly special forces and extreme adventure racers.

What I really do not like about the system is that it is very "closed", is only iseable for boiling water and it is dependent on very specific components and fuel canisters in order to work. Even a Jetboil can be used for heating food/making a stew in a pinch, canisters for it is available almost anywhere, it lights with a normal lighter/match/firesteel - and it can, to some extent, be repaired in the field if necessary.
Loose the ignitor or run out of gas unexpected - and the Heatgear Heatstick is nothing but at very expensive waterbottle.
