Gaffa tape sheath for my hatchet

My hatchet is so cheap it came without any sheath. And now that I have worked on it and made it sharp, I figured some edge protection was in order. So I made a sheath from gaffa tape.

Here is Axe sheath "Gaffa" MK 1.

Bellow is the YT video that inspired me. But modified that by inserting a hard plastic layer inside that won't get easily cut up by the axe, and used a nylon strap to secure it.

Don't forget some kind of plastic insert to protect the gaffa from being cut open by the axe. I am still using the one in the picture, and no signs of it being worn down :-)

Yeah. I got this wee rubber thing with the axe so I've taped that into the sheath.
