Aye Lads

Well with looking on the fourms here ive seen some wonderful Kuksas . So I thought I would give one a go (never tried one before ) Went down and cut what I thought was a burl from the Elm tree but when I took the bark off i found it to be smooth rather than all knarly . seemed just the job and had a ball working on it.

The new spoon is made from Maple Had a look round the wood pile in the local park and dragged a few branches home. Once I made the spoon I staned it in a Jar of cold water and 2 spoons of coffee . (first time I have tried this and realy like the result)
Ok heres the pics Hope ye like them

Cheers

Thanks Chris Im glad you like them. They were fun projects. My wife now wants another 5 spoons the same for the kitchen now!!

BB go for it mate its great . Just leave what ever you make in the coffee for at least 12 hours .
Its the first time I have tried this and well happy with the result and there is no coffee smell on the wood.
