Probably a daft question, but I was taught the only stupid question is the one you don't ask!

Is there a maximum weight for the dd Hammocks I'm slightly larger in frame and belly (22st) so will the hammocks take my weight fancied one for a while to cut down on the carp bivvy fiasco and lighten up on the camp kit

DD state, on their website, 150Kg which is 23.5st so you have about a stone to spare. May be best to take your boots off before you get in though. ;)

Thanks Martin, I looked and could not see it on the DD website.

Think I need to get out and about, hopefully shed some of the lard.

Next purchase looks like a DD hammock

Contact DD direct, I found them to be very helpful. Great customer service. I have a frontline and am thinking about a camping hammock as I don't need the mozzie net for this country. It's cheap for the quality, luckily I got mine from the 2nds option so it was dirt cheap but I'd pay full price for one without hesitation.

Is this the link to the 2nds option? £119 doesn't seem that "dirt cheap" to me

Ater my last post I went on to their site to find the seconds offers had all been sold. Try the camping hammock or the heinnie.com site for snugpak hammocks which come with the suspesion system included in the price. They also have the Snugpak Endurance pack in coyote for £49.95 which is about half RRP.

Something is wrong there i think. The Frontline hammock from DD Hammocks is only £49 delivered, dont know where the £119 came from?

Just had a look again and the £119 is for the combo deal:

35 litres rucksack
DD Frontline or Travel Hammock,
DD Tarp (Olive 3 x 3),
Hammock Sleeve,
Sleeping Bag Liner,
15m Black Cord,
Whistle.

Total Price: £119.00

The hammock itself is definitely only £49.

Ade.

The seconds are usually shown on the left hand column as 'seconds' rather than special offers. It only appears when they have any to offer.
