If the Doctor said to me that I had to go back to eating meat then this is what I would choose to eat. I hate the idea of factory farms and rearing an animal just to slaughter it in its prime. My mate has his own ducks chickens and sheep and when they need some meat he will select one of the animals, lead it away from the others and kill it humanely. His family then respect that animal by not wasting any bit of it. His hero is Hugh F-W and I have to say that I fully agree with that philosophy of rearing your own animals, giving them a nice life and a humane death. They don't eat meat every day and a sheep can last them quite a while. And it's not only zero carbon but very sustainable. His family are very healthy and have no food allergies or any other modern lifestyle problem.

The only problem with eating roadkill is the idea of having bacteria settling on its parts already which means that you are not sure how you are going to get them out. But in any other case that you find it fit, you can always try to cook them first or even smoke it to see how the parts are going to work.

You are not sure how other packed food are prepared so you have that to hold on to.
