Was watching tv tonight ad sorta had an idea(scary sometime huh? :D) anyways had an old belt buckle broke on it and I kinda do like the case on my Mora I got not long ago so thought about putting a piece of a leather belt on it for a field strop any thoughts? It's not on there permanent as of yet just got it on with a couple pieces of bicycle tube but may glue it on. I gave my SAK a couple runs over it was surprised how clean it cut though paper after don't have any compound for it either kinda figured being a hardshell case for the Mora good use of it

Why not? Looks pretty neat and if it works then leave it on there. :)

Great idea. I'll have to "steal" that one :D

Good idea, but you will find as you add the cutting paste and stropping, it will go black and that will rub off on your clothing if it comes into contact..

I'm just experimenting with a piece of leather machine belt
Grey compound on the rough side and green on the smooth.
Definitely works, it's my first strop, so not sure how well.
