New here; just doing a few posts to give you a sense of my paracord hobby; these are known as army ranger pace counter beads in USA, I think they may be SAS beads in UK?
I do all paracord beads; silent, unbreakable, non slip. Did this originally for myself because the ones I bought left a lot to be desired.

Depending on how your pace beads are configured, you will have a group of nine and a group of four. As you walk 100 meters, you move one of the group of nine up. Once you have walked nine hundred meters you will have no more of the group of nine to move so after the 10th lot of 100 meters you move one of the group of four up. You repeat this until you have walked 5Km and you start all over again. Pretty straight forward really.
