View Full Version : Gone to Iceland!

Hiya!
Sunday morning like any other apart from one thing...my Wife's just thrown me a curveball and said she quite fancies going to Iceland to try some bushcrafting (she keeps laffing and making comments about the lovely Geysers over there!!). Any suggestions where to start looking for information, or recommendations would be great. She doesn't too much seem to mind what time of year we go.
Obviously as first timers to Iceland somewhere not too far from civilisation would be handy.

There was a Julia Bradbury TV show on a few months back where she walked up to that unpronouncable volcano. There was quite a lot of info in there about outdoor groups and organizations in Iceland. Think it's called Eyjafjallajokull if that helps with a search.

Seconded.Although their frozen pizza section is fairly reasonable :D


I hope you enjoy yorself. Iceland must be an interesting place what with the volcanos etc.
