The image is updated every 10mins, you will need to refresh your page in order to get the new image (press F5 on your keyboard).


Tip: If the image is completely black it's probably night-time! :p

To be honest Kieran, I have camped in most parts of the moor over the years. Personally, I prefer the north moor as it is more bleak and desolate, which I love. Of course, there are many beautiful spots on both the north and south moors so you take your pick.

yeah the north moor is bleaker,the reason i asked was haytor which is the nearest to me trip through newton abbot and im there:),has a nice woodland, also is historic and some nice walks templer way which eventually will take you out to the docks at teignmouth if you look closely enough some of the old granite tracks are still in situe :),but agreed its all a very nice moorland as is exmoor and bodmin

I'm intrigued, does i automatically go off every 10 min? hopefully you'll catch a fox or deer or some other wildlife on it!

lol - no unfortunately I was wrong they're not stars, they are dead-pixels on the camera, I've caught it at dusk now and you can see the white dots over the top of land, the white dots are stilll visible during the day :( ... would have been much cooler if it were the stars!
