Woodland Whistles...

I've been making a batch of hazel 'countryman' / 'woodland' whistles for my daughter's charity stall in a local town park event next month.

Here's a sample of them... very satisfying I have to say although I reckon the neighbors are a bit fed up of all of the 'test' whistling...!

On these I turned the ends between centres on a lathe to keep them neat. Could have carved with a knife but wanted to play with the lathe...!
