Hi Guys, Thanks for the replies, Totally uncanny about being there on the same day (im stalking you all really, LOL).
It is a truly beautiful place< i was lucky enough to grow up not far from there.
> Ash, please feel free to add any photos. Gotta say the photos of your last trip to Dartmoor has inspired another trip for me, Never been to Fernworthy wood (think thats what it called) but photos were amazing, especially with the frost.

brilliant, great scenery, had to beleive there is a village beneath all that water.
Think i need to sit down for a while, (little dizzy now, lol), my favorite bit is when the dog pinches one of your sticks,,cheeky....

You've inspired me too! - Your lovely photo of the Burrator Reservoir itself has reminded me that I didn't actually get a good look round the reservoir at Fernworthy whilst we were there, so I want to go back and do that for a day :)

I remember camping at Burrator in a rainstorm and gales many years ago. Spent a few nights listening to the wind roar around the basin of the reservoir....Que howling wolves etc...J;-)
