Hey Rob, the pot noodle is the staple of many bushcraft trips. ;)

Thanks Martin, I have seen a couple of vids that you have done, I think one in the woods near devonport leat and the 3 day hike you were going to do but got cut short due to weather conditions. Have you got that 10 tors thing sorted yet? 45 miles over 2 days sounds a challenge!

Well done, hope the weather holds out for you. Mind you if it's anything like today it could be really hard work.

It's the sort of thing I would enjoy, I was gonna ask you a favour actually. Where roughly was that spot you found near devonport leat that's on the video? I promise to keep it to myself :-) totally understand if you want to keep it a secret though.

It's because you used the 'mad2' smillie. Not the ':)' smillie. :)

That's the "manic depressive" smilie. We also have the "insurance fraud":campfire:, the "psychopath":zombie-fighting: and the "incontinence".

Lol, yeah we have spent a few weekends up on Dartmoor. I find it can be quite a bleak place at times but I kinda like that!

I have been down to Dartmoor ten or twelve times since March this year. Mostly sticking to the south moor, but got to see a lot of the north moor on the attempted ten tors challenge. Like you say, it can be bleak at times, but I'm the same for liking that. It makes it feel more isolated and away from that nasty "real world" place. haha
