baught one nearly 18 years ago,use it nearly every day on my bed and out camping so you can safely say its been used 5000 nights,finally the zip wnt this week,i shall be able to repair it ,but i can safely say that it was worth every penny,anyone else beat 5000 night from a bag?

Nope, I mainly use sheets and a duvet on my bed. ;)

I bought the 5 season one of them many yrs ago (Antartica 5c I think its called). Not spent 5000 nights in it, but its a bloody good bag. The zip on it is awesome and almost undoes itself when you want to get out.
Rubbing some soap or zip lube on your zips will make them last longer..
I would not want to kip out in minus 25 degrees in it though. Thats what the rating is supposed to be. I got a bit chilly in minus 6 once when fishing.

Why are you sleeping in your bag indoors Fish..? You having trouble with the Mrs or something..?

we both use sleeping bags,allways have done,gets bloody cold upstairs in the winter,no heating up there see!
