Sorry folks, but I've just made another alcohol stove and I had to share!

The burner is from the top and bottom of a deodorant can pressed together (syphon pipe knocked out!), and has 16 x holes pierced in top. Tuna can forms windshield/primer plate/potstand base. 3 x wires (old bike spokes) swivel to pot size or removable for packing. Burner has coke can top as skirt - which is only really to centralize burner nicely in tuna can, but does allow primer fuel to get beneath burner also.

A fine nozzle fuel bottle or syringe is needed to fill through central syphon hole, and a hex-head roofing screw thingy spins loosely inside to close down on top (not sure what difference this really makes).

I really like that mate. Lots of thought gone into it. How efficient is it?

That teapot (the "My Skinflint Reaction tight-un kettle), had a pint of water in a previous test and boiled at 5 mins -ish. This test (for photographic purposes really) didn't quite give a boil but was only 2/3 full of fuel. I think you'd get about 30-40ml of fuel in it. Holes are at top, but air space is needed for gas pressure. This is a higher-pressure enclosed design so gives a more intense heat at the expense of a long burn time.

Yes very good Paul. I was only four back then, so your memory would be better as it was probably "more developed" by then. Ha ha!
