I've had one of those (a gift from my sweety two Xmas ago) and it's not bad, steel is decent and the edge is sharp, outside of that I have it in with my little nick-nack set, not something I'd fully rely on but is good to have just in case.

I would consider this knife for my backup pack but its got that damn serrated blade.
God knows why designers keep putting serrations on their survival knives when they serve no purpose at all.

They are helpful if the straight edge gets dull and isn't able to be sharpened, but I agree, serrations are a waste of space for the most part. Is why I have yet to put any on knives I've made, the other reason is I know I'll end up doing a crappy job. Lol

Yep I would agree with that.
On another note Canadian Mike thank you for recommending that wood hardener to me, sometime ago, used it on a paddle I was carving that had some soft heart wood. It worked a treat!

You can order the same knife from LMF as a straight edge.....I got one a couple of years back.
