Flexcut Carvin' Jack

Hi chaps,

Just before I head out the door, I thought I'd ask a question to see if anyone's used or can recommend the Flexcut Carvin' Jack (http://www.woodlandedge.co.uk/flexcut.html)?

I've just snapped my Frosts 163 Crook Knife (http://www.greenmanbushcraft.co.uk/cutting-tools/woodcarving-knives/frosts-163-woodcarving-spoon-crook-knife.htm) (moving garden furniture about) and wondered if the 'Jack' might be a good long-term investment.

i have one would not be without it great for small carving but a bit pricey

they are ment to be great i have seen them and they feel well made but never used one, id have one just cant afford one at the mo

I really want one badly. Buddy of mine he loves his pretty much said a carving kit in your pocket. though I ddoubt it would fully replace a good spoon knife be a nice addition for sure.

I take it out in the woods with me everytime now. I have used all the tools and they all work well. If you use the stropping gadget that comes with it after every 20 ish cuts, the tools stay soooo sharp. I really really like it.... But, 2 things. It's bleddy expensive and in all fairness, I prefer using my frosts mora spoon knife for carvin spoon bowls. But for intricate work as in my two projects above, it was the bomb..... Oh and it's black, but the blade edges are über shiny ;)
