Just got myself an old sewing machine of my mam....:D

Any ideas for stuff to make? No experience though...:confused2:

My hammock and midgenet were all DIY'd on a sewing machine.

You can also try your own Tarp too.

For inspiration get on over to hammock fourms and look through some of the DIY threads there, I think there is a sticky on diy hennessy hammocks.

Our old sewing machine would cope with canvas OK. Standard needles or needles for denim where used. The canvas had to be rolled up so it would fit through the arm of the machine,the left side was just fed through from left side/behind. We also had to G clamp the machine to the table.
Go on make a canvas tarp, you know you want to. ;)

I suscribed last night Mike (HF's) and ive been watchin' Shug's videos on you tube !
Now he's propper daft as a brush and worth a couple of hours of anyones time - pure entertainment !
