Kieran, as we live down here I'm not qualified to give advice on camp sites but it may help if you were to explain a little bit more about what you want from a site. Things like who will be going, do you want a bar/restaurant/club house? Do you want electric hook-up, showers, heated toilet blocks etc etc etc.

We used to visit Polmanter Campsite in St Ives which was absolutely spotless but really expensive. There are others, as I'm sure you know, that are merely fields. Corwall is a great place to come on holiday with facilities to match every aspiration. :)

This is one of my faves BLUE HILLS (http://www.bluehillscamping.co.uk/) Really good beach just down the hill. You can get down with a small car but don't try it with a van as the road is too narrow. You used to be able to wildcamp down there but I'm told that's all over now. It used to be called "Happy Valley" for anyone who can remember that era :) The people who run the site, Gary and Lou, are brilliant. Lots of other sites could learn a lot from their style of running a genuinely happy and pleasant campsite

Another site is TREEN (http://www.treenfarmcampsite.co.uk/) at Logan Rock. It's a very laid back "right on PC" type of place. The Logan Rock PH is very near and is supposed to have good food but I was not that impressed
