drewdunnrespect: allso would it be able to be used on a DD camping hammock
drewdunnrespect: dear ashley were did you get your under blanket from
Ashley: Thanks for the tip!
Jamie: Very good site, Just a little tip when you harden a knife blade it will need to be temperd, greenpete although a very talented man doesnt mention this, to temper steel pre-heat an oven to 200 then wrap the knife in foil and bake for one hour, this will make the edge of your knife much tougher and sharper. Hope this hlps.
Ashley: Thanks for the feedback and donation Brian, really appreciated and helps to the running cost of the site. Thanks Morgan, all suggestions are welcomed I'll see if I can do something on that, check back.
Morgan: Hey there, great site you got here, it really helps, i was wondering whether you had anything on making a good fire?
brian, cardiff: nice one keep this site going, very useful,
Ashley: Yeah make sure you use the Karibiner trick! Myself & Scott have learnt from experience! Im planning a trip to Dartmoor next week!

Bucks: Mozz, will order Karabiners, and mod hammocks as shown here, do we need additional webbing?
Mozza: Mr Dunsby dont get wet in your hammock next week! Remember your Karibiner drip line.
Ashley: I would if I had the time and knowledge, if I could take this up as a full time job, man I would! :p I welcome anyone who wishes to contribute to content here at NaturalBushcraft.

tom: you should put a everyday trick bit on her so you could do things like fire from a coke can and a bar of chocholate and things like that
tom: great article on hammocks im moving to australia soon so ill probally be using one of those now instead of a tent (more safe from snakes and spiders) keep up the good work
tom: what is the axe book?
Ashley: The Axe Book is available again and they're flying out!
Daniel Chipchase: Thanks for the link to my video! I love the bushcraft way of life. See you in the forest! (sleepcatcher.co.uk)
Ashley: I've had tons of requests for the free axe book! I'll put them back on the site when I've worked my way through the first batch.
Ashley: ANDYB Im glad you enjoyed Woodland Valley & the list. So your local to Cornwall then? Perhaps we will catch up for a brew at Woodland Valley sometime. Get in touch on the contact-page if you want. All the best. Also thanks for your comments Ian!
Ian H: You site is pretty good so far keep it up (: i havent been doing bushcraft too long and the articles here are a good starter briliant , cheers
ANDYB: Thanks for camp site listing. Woodland Valley top place to visit. I think I owe you a brew for that one, cheers.
Scott: I just had a look at the hammocking article you have and it's very good. I think more people need to submit their pictures on here so we can see what people get up to in the wild.
Ed (BCUK): Cheers for the kendall mint cake tutorial .... I always wondered how I could make it at home :-)
Yarrow: Hey druids, how are u all?
aBUL: Ya you go ashley
Ashley: Well Ray, from Soap-Making to Knots, Charcloth to Tarp configs, its all here Mr Mears and there's hundreds more articles to come in the future ;) Thanks for visiting all, please tell others about the site.
Ray Mears: One in the hand is worth two in the bush
deanengland: thanks ash ive ordered a catalogue mate cheers
John: A couple of problems with the movie Into the wild. First moose meat dosen't look like that awful mess in the movie.(Must be road kill?) Anyone who has field dressed game would tell you. Second the plant that the kid ate is not posionious in most sources of information but some people have said its the seeds that are posionious? How could someone combat this problem in the bush? Since it takes more than a week to starve to death. Thankyou for putting together a great website
abushcrafter: how about a site search...

[
www]
Ashley: Take a look at GreenPete's guide for the Jig he made with a vice & file. Alternatively look at Axminster tools, u can get a free catalogue and they have bevel making tools in there. With my first knife I did the bevel solely by hand with hand-grinder & file, I've learnt my lesson the bevel was to steep.
deanenglandName: ashley im having trouble making the belvel on my knives mate just cant seem to get both sides even close to each other any advice mate
Ashley: Feel free to contact me via the menu and submit content in! Thanks all.
Ashley: Superb find deanengland! Great video. More updates in the coming week.

Ashley: Thanks Be, fixed already! New articles online!

Be: I like it - but the link to BCUK Bushmoots goes to the BCUK Magazine instead..
Ashley: Let me know if you like the new-menu. Is the writing to small? I can make it larger but im going to have a job fit everything in! Thanks.
Ashley: Sorry folks, the database glitched & I lost a few messages! Good news though: there are new articles avaliable!
Ashley: Thanks for all the positive comments & support. Im enjoying making new articles for you. Get involved add your photo to the new photo-area.
Scott: alright mate so you got the charcloth section on there now it's good
Alex: Hi, great site - just one suggestion: it seems there are lots of articles coming in and instead of having each title down the side how about have an 'articles' section, with a drop down menu in it? Just might make it easier to find things, rather than being mixed among videos, quote, bushmoots etc. But great site, great content, love the layout.
Steve: No, keep the music. Love the pipes and the Bushcraft Boyz. But I'm from Arizona, so subtitles might be nice.

Bogman10: Luv The site, Good Bear video lol, Look for Ron Hoods video's woodsmaster, and Bushtuckerman too!
niko: hi, i like this site
Matt Weir: A fine site with some good bushcraft info mate :o)
malente from BCUK: Hi there, love the site Keep it up Mike!
Ashley: BCUK Community welcome to my project! Much of this is dedicated to you

loz from bcuk: nice site 1!!!
Ashley: Thanks for your feedback Gary, appreciated. I've taken on what you've said, but I love that music! Its bliss to me

I've compromised by implementing a script that should now make the music be the very last thing to load. Is that any better?
Gary: Would suggest getting rid of the background music, it slows the page down when loading, apart from that nice site
Ashley: For primitive weapons see "Making a Survival Bow with Mors Kochanski" in the videos section. Scott it was a pleasure. Thanks for posting all.
Scott Dursley: Cheers for the video of the bi-pod and thanks for showing how to make it
Scott Dursley: Great looking rabbit
kdbf22@gmail.com: I would like to know how to make primitive survival weapons.
Scott: I think i need to get some more kit mainly a tarp
Ashley: This is the first test message, hello Bushcrafters!
