    Bahco Laplander

Just got my hands on the Bahco laplander folding saw based on a few recomendations from this site. A hell of a lot more lighter than I was expecting, really happy with it. The leather strap is also a nice touch

Lovely bit of kit, I've abused one for nearly 5 years, yet to snap a blade or brake in anyway.
Solid saw , even though it feels like flimsy plastic...

I have to look into these again. Both my current folding saws are about as usefull and sharp as a leaf of wet lettuce, so I do not bother with them anymore.
And the saw on my folding knife is so short that it is only usefull on branches that are so thin that it's quicker to use the knife blade to cut them :-)

My other bushcraft saw isa full sized bow saw and that is a tad impractical unless the plan is to cut fire wood for the entire winter season...

Love mine. I thought the same when it got delivered. I bought it under recommendation and when it arrived I thought it was too light and flimsy to be useful. But I've had it since 2012 and it's done great work. Still on the original blade too. I've found it's good for doing the cross cuts on a fire log and then using my SAK to go down each quarter again. Works really well as the SAK blade is that little bit thicker
Infamy infamy, they've all got it in for me.

A thing of beauty and one of the few items the vast majority of people do seem to rate highly
