Mr and mrs Bushcrafting holiday, advice sought

    Hi folks,
Me and Claire are planning a bushy fortnight end of June.
We are going to Grizedale forest in the Lake District, then up to Galloway Forest park
Just wondered if you guys had any experience in these areas?
Any must or must nots, any places recommended, dangerous or unwise areas. Also is there a good chance of deer in these areas? Want to find some antler if I can, need some badly for bushy projects and just cant afford any at the moment, got too much going on that needs my cash.
    Any and all advice appreciated
    Best wishes
    Jon

not been camping in Grizedale but MTB'd there a lot and you should be able to find somewhere to pitch up! Galloway forest is great. There's plenty of deer but i can't say i've seen much antler lying about, (or i'd have had it lol!).
If there are no women around and a man says something, is he still wrong?
