    Smile Awright

Hello my name is John and new to the site. Grew up fascinated by the great outdoors and marvelled at the adventures but never actually did much. I usually just read about it or watched TV programme/documentary. I have two children (11 and 14) and have started occasional camping, overnight and at local campsite. Thinking now is the time to trial some wild camping but just trying to build knowledge and confidence. We are from Scotland, central belt. Plenty of places to explore. This forum/website is a fantastic resource and really hope I can share future experience/trips with anyone who may be interested.
