I recall the ancient proverb of....breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dine as a pauper... It has more than a grain of truth about it but alas today it seems 3 meals and a supper like a king is the trend

I do get confused by the meal names...
We have breakfast in the morning before work school...usually 2-4 slices of bread with something on it....like jam, pork pate, ham. For luch the same, although a warm lunch is getting to be the norm these days. Then dinner as soon as it can be made when you get home from work. When I grew up that meant anything that can be cooked and eaten with boiled potatoes...I have not eaten a boiled potato for a good while....
And then an evening meal consisting of....guess again. Yup, same as lunch.
