    hello,
I was taught many years ago in training, there's many uses of a parachute in a survival situation from shelter, sleeping bag, to clothing to name but a few. Find yourself a US Field Manual on Parachutes if you don't already have prior knowledge of it's many uses, you'll be surprised. Checked online details, for that price I would have bought a few of these.

I think this is the same outfit where I got my chute from. I got one with the string on for an extra £5 and I must say all that 550 for £5 was a bargain. Been very happy with my chute - it continues to serve me well.
