Thumbs up New Member from Derbyshire

    Hi All,

After reading the forums for a couple of weeks now, I have finally made an account to introduce myself and get involved!
I Live in a small rural village and I am 20 Years of age.
Always had a strong passion for the outdoors and recently started getting involved in the Bushcraft side of things with a good friend.
We have planned our first trip for the end of this month! So hoping the weather picks up a little, however we have prepared well enough for anything! (We Hope!)
    So yes,
    Hello Everyone!

    Chris.

    Hello Chris and welcome.

I'm just down the road in Leicestershire. My father lives in your county so I'm familiar with some very nice parts - specifically the rural route between his house and the Poet's Corner public house

    Cheers,

    Hi Chris,
Welcome to the forum from me across the Atlantic.
First trip, eh? My only advice: make the best of everything.
Nothing will go perfectly the first time out, but that doesn't mean you can't have the best time!
    All the best!

Hi Chris, welcome to the forum.for your first trip do not overextend yourself.you'll always take things you dont use our need.n forget the most important things.
Remember it gets colder at night, set up camp n get a fire going in the day light.
Best of luck make a note off what you used,n what you forgot.n your trips will improve !
