    Base layers if it's really cold, less in warmer temperatures but that's between me and my sleeping bag ..... ATB Shug.

    Yep base layers, but as already said they must be perfectly dry and just for sleeping in
    Campfires are best shared with friends.

    Yeah I carry a spare set of base layers in a drybag for sleeping. I can't say as I like sleeping in them, but carrying, for example, a 2 season bag with the optional baselayers is more flexible and less bulky than a 3 season bag.
