    Wow!!!Super views...Have been to OSLO n Underlein,area.many years ago.and really had a good time.always promised to return !.But alas curcumstances,have not allowed it!

    But since it was nice, you must have met a lot of northerners :-)

    Eghill was Norwegian,Keller his wife was Danish.
    So there was a mixture.Remember the brick walls with carpet hangings,The Danish painted furniture,Swimming pool n Saunna.Also I think it was called the Spirrella.a cicular road cut into the mountain,The Kontiki Raft,.etc
    My kids loved sleeping in beds in the walls,with doors.
    Oh memories!!!

    Another 12 years and the mortgage will be paid and two thirds of the kids will have left home. The wife and I have always said that once this happens, it will be our time to travel and explore new places. Places like Norway will always be at the top end of the list and one day we will get there.

    Yes thats it!Great view from top if memory serves me right.
    I was told it was built by the engineer who built the motorway.and they used all the rock,dug out as balast for the road.
    also in parts there were large "Caverns",that I believe could be used for rock/pop parties.so noise didnt bother anyone.
