On a practical note...using any type of solvent is not going to be good for the Fabric,and its waterproofing!
Just had an idea!There is a tape (IRON ON HEMMING TAPE)with which you could use to Iron on perhaps a bushcraft badge.or two or three "I love the lake District" type badges.Which would cover the offending Word.n preserve its finish!!
