    How many years did it take, he seriously looks bad in the after face pic.
    And he still has the same shorts on.

    The ATC (Appalachian Trail Conservancy) gives an estimate of 6 months average.

    Current record for completing the 2,000 mile trail unsupported is 58 days, 9 hours, and 38 minutes.
    Supported is 46 days 11 hours 20 minutes.

    2000 miles at say 58.5 days....34+ miles per day... day after day..hat's off to whoever set that record..
