    Hello from Braintree

    Hi folks
Came across this Forum and liked what I saw, you seem a friendly bunch so I thought I would join.I don't know very much about Bushcraft in fact nothing really but I am semi retired now and spend a lot of time wandering around the woods and footpaths in the area with the dogs and Jackie (my wife ) don't seem to mind , I'm just thinking about that as I write this( there is a lot of milk in the fridge and she is very friendly with the milkman). The more time I spend wandering throu the woods and across the footpaths the more I like it so I thought I would have a look on here and learn a little more,I know I am not in the same league as you bunch but I may get there in the end .I just watched the video on putting up tarps and I've been practising the knots needed for about 30 mins,so if there is anyone in the Essex area could pop around and untie me that would be good bye for now.

Welcome my friend to the forum. You are in luck. I run the southeast group and very shortly moving to Braintree. There are a couple of us in the area. We will have to meet up for a drink and chat
