    I'm thinking of doing similar with an old Army blanket & maybe a Cagoule out of some MTP fabric I have. Your photos rotation amended

    Jazz006 like it. I was thinking along similar lines & that of the WWII Desert smock cagoule. I'd like the front kangaroo pouch from yours on the lower rear. I used to have an Officers SAS Wooly Pully with a pocket on the rear very handy worn inside the windproof smock for kit carry..

    Aye I like the back pocket myself. The poachers pocket comes in handy.
