    Folding handle..

Anyone know of a source for a stainless mug with folding handle? Tatonka was favourite until a supplier told me that the factory ( in Vietnam) that supplies them was recently flooded!! No more exports 'til mid to late March. All the usual stockists seem to have run out except 'BronzeMoon' possibly.... Needs to be 8.5 cm diameter minimum to fit a particular bottle/flask.

You could well be right Midas, I'll give our Moonie friend a miss I think I thought Tatonka was German gear but apparently it comes from Vietnam !! Shame, I was trying to make up a flask/mug combo for a nippers birthday present.

I've had a fair scout round the usual, but haven't found a round mug. Kidney shape stainless/ally surplus..no problem. The lightweight/climbing shops have Titanium gear but it's a mortgage..

GSI glacier is the closest alternative to the Tatonka mug.

    Also fits the Nalgene bottle.

Yes, I thought I was in luck with that Rune, but it's 7.6cm diameter. I have a Klean Kanteen 1182ml (1.2 litre) that I was hoping to fit a mug on to make up a Dave Canterbury style set as a present for a 9 year old camping fanatic

If Amazon have got the measurements correct this one may fit. That Nalgene bottle is 32 oz, the Klean Kanteen is 40 oz (1.2 litre) but the mug in the photo is apparently 3.5 inches diameter which is near enough to 9cm. So I suppose the difference is in the height of the bottles not the diameter. So hopefully the mug will fit the 32 and 40 oz bottles.
Anyway my head hurts, never was good at maths... So I've ordered a mug.
