    Joe O'Leary hybrid moccasin

Thought I’d share with you how I found making a pair of the ‘Joe O’Leary hybrid moccasins’ as per the article he did for Bushcraft and Survival Skills magazine, and latterly on his blog (which I’ve posted about before)…

My blog entry is here http://austinlill.blogspot.co.uk/201...t-booties.html

And Joe’s article is here http://joeoleary1.blogspot.co.uk/201...1_archive.html

Thanks that was interesting. I've got plenty of leather and soon more time too (don't have to crawl in and out of London any more) so this will make a cool project.

Me thinks this might be the next thing to have a go at,with the rest of the leather that I got off mat.

Nice project. I've been tempted to make my wife a pair since Radford Leathers now charge nearly £40 for a pair: http://www.radfordleathers.com/index...tyle-slippers/

I'm hoping to find sheepskin cheaper.
