    Australian "animal"

This was sent to me from a pal in Oz. It was underneath his dustbin (allegedly as I've never seen anything like it)

    Can anyone identify it?

I can barely make it out. Do you have any better photos?

    Are those teeth in front?

Bloated animal carasses can take the most curious shapes and forms.

It's the best I've got. I thought it was a wind-up when I saw it; probably taken with a mobile phone hence the c**p quality

First thing that came to mind was some sort of mole. Can't really tell what it is, is it arachnid, insect, bird, mammal or what?

I think wind up may be likely as the gravel on the ground also appears over the body of the "beast" , looks like poor photoshop.
I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy

It looks like something out of the film Evolution. Sorry - I know that's no help!
