I did a drawing for a knife blade some time ago and have always wanted to see what it would look like in real life.
Well, Adam took the job on and has produced a cracker.
I'm not going to write too much as the pictures can do the talking, all I will say is that the level of service and communication was spot on, I was updated with photos and commentary of each stage as it was carried out, so it made the experience of seeing it come to life all the better.
Blade: 01
Handle: Buffalo horn.
Liners: St.steel.
Bolster: St.steel
Pins and lanyard tube: St.steel.
Initial drawing with two types of handle.
3D analysis to show balance point. This was then altered to account for handle weight and drilled holes were calculated to keep the balance line just above the finger choil.
Holes drilled.
Handle affixed.
Rough shaping under way.
