Wasp-like, Moth-like...

Hi guys,

Anyone recognise this beastie that terrorised the mrs?;





It flew into the lamp shade leading me to believe it was a moth like creature.

Scary yellow/orange and black warning stripes though!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
