    I'll second that, we've been having the same weather in Midlothian for the past couple weeks! Also, was in Galloway forest park late last month... it went from 14C and sunny to rain, back to sunny then -2 and snow within about 3 hours.

    Finally caved, and bought myself a 16cm Zebra billy. The 1L kettle fits perfectly inside it, then a couple dried soups and pasta on top of that, then the insert with brew kit in. Not the lightest piece of kit, but it'll last a lifetime.

    I just use one of these, as it's great for nettle tea and dandelion coffee, without weighing much.

    Same kettle I have . Had it for years and its still as good as the day I bought it if a bit singed lol
