And don't forget how much they spend at the hairdressers! Never thought about it before and probably never would have if it wasn't for the fact that I am self employed again so the wife asked if there were suitable funds for her and the daughters visit to the salon. I nearly fell of my perch when she told me how much but then the brain matter started ticking over and its amazing just how much bushcrafty stuff can be justified on these visits to the hairdressers

A pair of Rohan bags in the new dust colour. Very nice. In 2010 Rohan did an advertising promotion claiming that many customers still had bags from the original 1980 production run. Due to the age the garment care labels had faded and so they were willing to replace the trousers for a new pair FOC. Don't know if anyone actually took them up on the offer though. Hope mine last as long.
Infamy infamy, they've all got it in for me.

    Run amok in Poundland again.

2 x collapsible lanterns (and they both work)
2 x mesh bags (for an idea I have to 'pimp' my tent)
2 x packaway rucksacs (not designed for heavy loads, but you could put one in your coat, then if the sun comes out, put your coat in it)
2 x emergency shelters (the shiny ones, for another little experiment I'm thinking about)

A folding aluminium table knife from Mountain Warehouse (99p )

And the new Lidl folding saw.
I only popped out for a pasty
