    The cattle dies;
    friends dies,
    Die yourself you will;
    But the words about you
    never dies,
    If you win the good words from friends
    (Haavamål 10th century Norse poem)

    You won the words, Al....

    Defeat is an absolute consequense for the one that have neglected to do the necessary preparations - bad luck we call it

    hello,
    I read the link earlier. Nothing that can be said that hasn't already.
    Is the NBC Mods sending a card/other condolences to the family from the Community?
    My thoughts go out to the family RIP Big AL.
    Regards
    David

    Just saw the thread title and thought "Ahhh here we go, what's the joke..."

    And then I read on and am gutted. Rest in peace Al.

    Al was one of natures gentlemen, and he touched many lives, I am still taken aback when looking at posts; as I scan down I see one from Al. So I can believe he's still here and I think this forum will keep him with us.

    Even though I didn't know Al, why is it that I feel a sense of loss? Saddned by the news.

    Rest In Peace, Al.
