    lots of leather things

    hi all,
i'm still pretty new to leathercraft, i've made a few pouches, a sheath and these so far.
this was my first ever knife sheath for an opinel-slim. as you can see its pretty high-riding ad wasnt very comfy unless you wore it as a neck knife.

made this today and i was quite please with it. its a cover for my dads old wood ax. the blade covering part is much stiffer and thicker leather than what i usually use. the rest is just normal leather. the clip is off an old bag strap:

Pretty good for first tries. Clean up the edges by sanding, and being more careful with the blade, and each and every thing you make will improve your skill and end product.

Looks like you're off to a flying start. Particularly like the axe hood.
