    Garden Visitor

I get lots of birds visiting my bird table all year round and, as i live in a very rural area close to a Shoot, I often get the Game Birds coming into the garden. This fellow was quite tame and I even had him taking seeds from my hand.

My freezer is full of Pheasant. I simply fed this one, watched him for a while and let him go on his way. I didn't want to take him just because I could.

    Thumbs up

    Lovely photos, thanks for sharing.

I wish I had game-birds coming into my garden ... I saw one about 300 meters away from my garden once but that's about it.

At my mother in laws, the neighbours keep exotic birds, so they get Peacocks and guinea fowl in the back garden. The peacocks will come and eat out of your hand. It is a bit os a surprise when you open the door and there is a male peacock strutting his stuff about 3ft away. Will dig some picks out of my girls feeding them.

if that was in my garden it would very quickly take a trip to the freezer! although i probably wouldnt be able to shoot a bird as tame as that.
