What suprised me was how well it actually worked, tasted superb and even had some crispy bits on the bacon. Got to take my hat off to the chef and to think that we were laughing at Matts suggestion earlier in the day.

Not on this occasion, it was more of a chill out and see rather than a serious session but it did prompt me to go and buy a rod of my own again! just got to get a few other bits and introduce the lad to the joys of sitting quietly for a few hours pondering on the meaning of life...

Looks like you had a grand time.

Did you get full ish days of sunshine, or just a brief sunny intervals between mizzle and gales, like we have been having down here in St Ives for the last week and a bit?

Weather was just right really. Had a little rain on Friday evening but nothing worth worrying about. The rain didn't come back in until after we left on Sunday so couldn't ask for more.

It was like a millpond out there Phil and the water was so clear. Would have been good to catch up again.
