Where do you keep your kit?

I've got a slight problem with storage at home. My wife doesn't want to see my kit bags lying about and there's not enough cupboard storage to pack them away. If I dared to bring them inside, they'd be tossed out or taken to the loft. My long haired general runs a tight ship!

So I'm left with two options:
    1. Keep my bags in the garage and let them collect dust.
    2. Keep them in the boot of my car.

At present, the latter is the case. I have ropes, large backpack, canoe bag and canoe kit in my boot. There's hardly room to put a shopping bag.

So I was wondering where and how other people store their kit.

PS. Back along she found one of my axes down the side of my bedside cabinet. SHE WAS NOT PLEASED!! SMnono

I keep all my kit in the same place as my normal kit I dont have to worry about women But if I did I would have a couple of options

    1. Get a new woman
    2. Build a shed if I wanted to keep her
    3. Build a room in the attic
CLAP clearly loudly, as an order, with pauses

Heh Heh, two of us live in a 3 bedroom bungalow - so we have 2 spare bedrooms, one is mine, all mine I tell you ha ha ha haaa haaa

ooops sorry got carried away there.

I turned the spare bedroom into a utility room, the grandchildrens toys are on one side of the room and my 'stuff' is in other.

My mates call it 'the swamp' (from M*A*S*H) because sometimes we sit around drinking in there

I've had a great suggestion to make a chest that can live in the garage and my gear will be neatly hidden away and free from collecting dust.

Of course, the chest I make will make some sheds look small!
