    Gloves recommendation please

I've been using Northern Ireland gloves for ages and find the seams go if I over use them with fire and other hot things then become a problem.

Can you chaps recommend some close fitting, hard wearing, still dexterous, fire proofish gloves for the discerning outdoorsman?

    Cheers

Luftwaffe gloves from Endicotts. Nothing more to say.

I run a pair of IronClad brand Ranchworx gloves most of the time... Pretty expensive, about 20 pounds in your money, but they've lasted me 2 years of camping, woodworking, building theatre sets, and practical archaeology courses at uni so far without failing...

I had a pair of the German flying gloves for years. I lost them rather than wore them out but I have to agree they were great. I used them as summer motorcycling gloves and also as rescue gloves if I was on scene at RTCs. Tough enough to stop glass going through but with enough feel to palpate a carotid pulse in an exsanguinating patient. Hmmm might have to buy another pair.
Infamy infamy, they've all got it in for me.

Dickies goatskin leather gloves, lined £12 or unlined £10. I have had a pair for a while, gave them a water proof with some Bear fat water proofing, both warm, dry and hard wearing.

I think a pair of leather gloves would fit that description.

But i can't give you an example because i don't use any.

I like these from a PPE site for £4.50 delivered - very soft and supple, very good fire/heat resistance
