    Hello Guys an Gals

    Hi
    My name is Chris.
I run a small motorcycle workshop just outside Gorebridge, Mid Lothian.
I was told about this place by my friend Big Stu who has recently joined. I have had a huge intrest in "bushcraft" since i was a boy, but back then we called it survivalism.
I am an amatuer bladesmith, fairly proficient barebow archer(but not shot regularly in a while) and air rifle shooter, with my own shoot. I have been kinda busy for the last ten years and not had much time to do much, but now i am once again able to follow some not quite forgotten goals and pusuits.
I am in the process of gettink my "kit" together with Stu, the wood is ordered for the canoe we are gonna build, and my new air rifle(xs38) is gonna get some tuning and customising mods. Got an old hw97k .22 that is the workhorse gun.
I am more than happy to let anybody local to have a go of the home made propane forge Mk3(cheers stu) that we built if they fancy a go at bladesmithing themselves,(might be nice to contribute to the propane fund though..lol ) i rekon we got our processes (forging/hardening/tempering) pretty much sorted and am happy to share what we know and possibly learn more too.

anyways, Hello, Well met and if u want to know more then just ask.

    Chris
