How did you manage to keep warm ? I have a DD hammock but as yet haven't used it and was thinking I would wait for some warmer weather. But you guys are made of sterner stuff.

Comic life... Believe it or not I did my whole dissertation on this program because it had so many images in it and comic life just made it easier to manipulate the images.

Sensible use of layering clothing and a snugpak underquilt but only a 3 season, 8 year old sleeping bag. We were both very warm, but I did take a hot water bottle for my son.

Santa is getting us a Snugpak Elite 4 sleeping bag each for Christmas

Personally I prefer the winter for backpacking. Staying warm adds to the challenge and if you think about it sensibly it's easy, just get out there... try not to get frostbite
