I have just inherited an old 35mm SLR with a lot of manual lenses and intend to exploit them to their full potential. I am not long back from a woodland walk with the kids and shot a whole spool in like ten minutes. BTW nice picture Adam, razor sharp....in fact there are a loads of nice pictures on this thread already, cannot wait to see what else gets posted.

Am I allowed to post more pictures on this thread? Or is one the limit?

    Thanks Corvus.

Thanks Corvus. I don't think I could get away with a film camera, I burn through 1gb an hour with my DSLR lol. Have some better pictures, but most have been post processed, so kinda cheating there.

this is a huge factor in why I am going back to 35mm. In the past year I have spent well over £5000 on digital camera bodies and lenses a Canon 5D mk ll and a Nikon D90 and various lenses, for what? to get back home to upload 500 pictures of absolute twaddle. Film has always made me compose and expose a shot properly although todays rapid firing may give a different conclusion to that statement lol and any post processing that can be done on a computer has already been done in darkrooms by our film predecessors so its not really cheating mate

I see what you mean, but I went digital for two main reasons...
1: I photograph a fair bit of wildlife (from ducks to deer ) and when they are going to be moving, I want rapid frame rate with the knowledge I'm not gunna hit the end of the roll any second and miss a great shot .
2: I don't have my own darkroom, and I don't like paying someone to develop my snaps lol.
