    blanking sea fishing

    went out again last night night and blanked lol,not even a twitch of my rod,is anybody else having these problems,or is it just the south devon/east devon coasts
    lifes good ,but even sweeter under the stars

    Depends where you go, the tides, time of day, bait/lure, etc. I was canoeing last Thursday evening on the Exe estuary when the tide was rising. I saw two chaps pull something out just as I was putting my canoe in the water.

    Well my son went out the other night, came back with four nice little whiting, and his mates had a few also.
    That was in Kent at the Hythe beach night tide.

    i use peeler crabs,or mackie strip bernie,i only ever lure fish in the summer months,ive been using a pulley rig and the other rod is on a float set up,it might have been a flatfish they were hauling up,i know theres a lot of activity on the local estuary's at present.never ever fished the exe,ive been to budleigh,
    lifes good ,but even sweeter under the stars
